So I figured the best way to celebrate my blogiversary would be to do a little giveaway. It's a first for me and something I'm really excited about. I thought for awhile about what would be best to give. I wanted it to be something that men and women could get excited about and I wanted it to be something you could really use.
Since things got a little more fun around here when I first started snarking about what people wear out of season -- namely, boots! -- I ultimately decided on giving away a $50 gift card to Zappos! I hope that whoever wins it will use it towards a fun fall shoe purchase.
And I will say this: the gift card is coming out of my own pocket and is not sponsored by Zappos, but I would endorse them again and again and again. I find their customer service to be the best in all of retail. They often upgrade shipping to free overnight, so that you might even receive your shoes by the next afternoon without an additional charge. After I purchased my fall riding boots there last year, they put me on a VIP membership. VIP members get special access to certain sales and shoe collections, and always get free overnight shipping. I can only assume I was upgraded because I'm a good customer, and I love a company that rewards its customers so well!
Down to the important part. There are three ways to enter, and if you do all three, you'll be entered three times! (Magic, I know.) Here's how:
1. Leave a comment here describing the shoe at the top of your fall shopping list.
2. Like my blog on Facebook, which I promise to be using much more in the near future:

3. Make sure you follow me on Twitter and then tweet the following:
"I entered @SassyMarmalade's Blogiversary Giveaway for a $50 @Zappos Gift Card! http://www.sassymarmalade.com/2012/08/blogiversary-giveaway.html"
That's it! I'll be choosing a winner next Sunday, August 26.
And I also want to say this: I know, really, it's just a blog, but you guys all make me feel loved, every time you read, comment, encourage and commiserate with me. Thank you!
I a looking for the perfect fall ankle boot. So far I haven't found it.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on two years!!!
Congratulations on two years! Looking for a great pair of riding boots. Definitely no Toms. Not in Fall. Not ever. I'd rather wear plastic bags on my feet.
ReplyDeleteI'm torn between buying new running shoes and new dating shoes. What? I have shoes that are specifically for dancing, others for running, so it makes perfect sense to me to have shoes just for going on dates.
ReplyDeleteCongrats, Tiffany!
I often wear boots when it's not the season, but SF doesn't really have seasons. So for the fall, we get summer weather. Not a bad time to stock up on all those summer sandals that are now on sale! :P
ReplyDeleteI'm also looking for a short fall ankle boot. Congrats on two years.
ReplyDeleteThis autumn I would love a new pair of black heeled boots.

My fall top shoe, is one I own and have for two years and have sat in the box - they are a heeled gray suede bootie and they are gorgeous and I didn't want to ruin them, & I finally got them all water proofed and I'm ecstatic to get to wear them soon. enough.
